This is where the Riverton family lives and where Jarla Equestrian is based. For Gillian, this is where her connection to Claire and Rowan begins — and later, this place also becomes an important support for Meadowland.
After arriving on Jorvik, Gillian first stays in Moorland. This is where she meets Esmeralda Holdsworth and sees Field for the very first time — the horse she forms the deepest bond with.
Gillian’s journey on Jorvik begins at the harbor of Fort Pinta. Later, the same place becomes important once more, when Sadie leaves the island from here.
This is where the Springflowers come from. A stable fire and the world of professional sport shaped Jamie’s past — and later, it is here that he finally realizes which side he truly stands on.
Wildwoods is tied to one of the most emotional chapters of the series: first through the lost horse and her foal at Meadowland, and later through Gillian’s journey to the ancient horses.
